Be on the Ball
There is a pervasive misconception caused by the underrepresentation of Black skin in medical manuals and the media, leading many Black people to be unaware of the signs of skin cancer. However, there is something that grabs their attention: basketball. So, we partnered with the basketball brand Spalding to launch a collection of brown basketballs featuring illustrations of different manifestations of melanomas. This initiative aims to raise awareness about skin cancer in Black individuals and make the signs more visible. Because if you catch the signs early, you can win the game.
